2) Your listening blog or diary

Learning English means changing your habits. Instead of listening to audio media in your mother tongue, you need to 'feed your ears' with English. To start and monitor this process, you should keep a listening blog or diary. This is an ongoing calendar in which you write down all the information on your listening and learning experiences. There are several ways you can keep your blog or diary – you can use a simple paper notebook, you can maintain it as a word processing file on your computer, or you can publish your progress in an Internet blog. The key point is that you should develop the habit of making entries in it every day without fail. You will see examples of how you should use your listening blog in further sections of this book.
