Technology has revolutionized many aspects of office life and one of these aspects is the introduction of AI in relation to HR. First, the combination of HR and AI can prove to be very useful in conducting the recruitment process. AI can remove bias from the hiring process, however in order for this to be successful, there has to be diversity of data. Second, by carefully programming AI, it can predict staff’s capability to meet performance indicators. Third, since computers are superiors to humans when it comes to crunching numbers, AI can be used to do repetitive HR admin tasks leaving no room for human error. Still, AI will not become a substitute for humans, but rather it will be a useful tool for data-based decision making.
