Two co-workers are discussing their career plans

— Hey Mary! How are you doing? Have you decided whether you're going to stay with us another year?
— Yes. I don't think I will. I've applied for a job at Adams Elementary for next year.
— You have? Really? That's great, but…I thought you liked it here.
— Oh, I do. This is a great school, and I'll hate to leave. The thing is, I'd really prefer to teach younger children, and Adams has an opening for a second-grade teacher.
